Officials also recommend checking whether investment companies are registered with the appropriate regulatory authorities before investing. Police have encouraged victims of cyber fraud to report incidents immediately to the nearest Cyber Crime Police Station or through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Authorities stated that public awareness and timely reporting are essential to preventing financial losses and helping law enforcement take swift action against cybercriminals.
