Dindigul District Police have intensified night patrols across the district to strengthen public safety and prevent criminal activities. The special patrol teams are monitoring major roads, residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, bus stands, railway stations, and other public places to ensure the safety and security of residents.
As part of the initiative, police personnel are conducting regular vehicle inspections, verifying suspicious movements, and increasing surveillance in areas that have previously reported incidents of theft, robbery, and other crimes. Additional patrol vehicles and beat officers have been deployed during late-night and early-morning hours to enhance law enforcement visibility and respond quickly to emergencies.
Police officials stated that CCTV surveillance is also being closely monitored, and coordination between local police stations has been strengthened to improve crime prevention efforts. Authorities have appealed to residents, shop owners, and business establishments to cooperate with patrol teams and immediately report any suspicious activities or unattended objects.
